"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire."
-William Butler Yeats
I was born in Pakistan and I immigrated to America at the age of 5. I have 4 siblings (3 older sisters and a little brother). I've lived in Long Island practically my entire life and I am a die-hard New York Mets fan!
I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University. I majored in Political Science and minored in Theatre Studies. Prior to law school, I worked as a Litigation Paralegal for almost 2 years. I have volunteered to work for different government officials and have served many constituencies.
This past year, I had the privilege of serving as a May SBA Senator. In addition, I have tremendous experience and have held many other leadership roles. I was a divisional SGA President at Emory University and during my term, I implemented groundbreaking changes in and outside my community.
As a future lawyer, I will solve specific problems and advance the interests of those who retain me to perform a service.
